Washington and Texas hit the field on Monday night in the CFP Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The Huskies come into the game a perfect 13-0 and fresh off a second win over Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship game. The Huskies are led by Michael Penix Jr., who finished second in the voting for the Heisman Trophy. Penix Jr. threw for 4,218 yards and 33 touchdowns to help lead the Huskies back to the CFP. It is the second time Washington has made the semifinals, but this time the Huskies are looking for a better result. They lost to Alabama 24-7 in 2016, but have a stronger team this season and are looking to get their first playoff win.
