Tottenham Hotspur will play their final game of the year on New Year’s Eve against Bournemouth, after Brighton & Hove Albion ended their winning streak in midweek.
Spurs will play their final home game of 2023 three days after their disastrous trip to the Amex Stadium, and manager Ange Postecoglou will have to choose whether to rearrange his lineup.
However, the Australian’s options are limited because of his lengthy absence list; on Sunday afternoon, multiple senior players will be absent once more.
Injury concerns have also sidelined defensive star Cristian Romero (hamstring), James Maddison (ankle), Micky van de Ven (thigh), Manor Solomon (knee), Ivan Perisic (knee), Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring), and Rodrigo Bentancur (ankle).

Oliver Skipp was given a four-match ban earlier this month, but he is set to be back in the mix after missing Thursday’s match due to a knock. He may even start in central midfield.

Richarlison, a fellow countryman of Emerson, leads Tottenham’s front line along with Brennan Johnson, Heung-min Son, and possibly Lo Celso, who could replace the suspended Dejan Kulusevski. Alejo Veliz, who came off the bench to score at the Amex, should again be used as an impact substitute.
