Ronnie O’Sullivan’s daughter claims snooker legend is “not fit to be a dad”
Taylor-Ann Magnus, the 23-year-old daughter of Ronnie O’Sullivan and Sally-Ann Magnus, whom he dated for a year in 1996, has accused her father of being “not fit to be a dad.” Sally-Ann moved into O’Sullivan’s family home after both of his parents were arrested—his mother for tax evasion and his father for murder. However, Sally-Ann, a mortgage administrator, was ejected from the home when O’Sullivan’s mother Marie was released, swiftly ending their relationship.
And their daughter has told The Sun she has only met her dad 12 times in her life and complained about their distant relationship.
“He may be a world champion to some, but as far as I’m concerned, he’s not fit to be called ‘Dad,’ let alone ‘Grandad,'” declared Taylor-Ann.
Taylor-Ann accused the snooker star of rejecting her attempts to introduce him to her daughter Zarah-Ann in an interview with The Sun.
“Zarah-Ann will grow up never knowing who he is,” she remarked. He has made a lot of promises, but there is a big difference between what he says and does.
When Taylor-Ann revealed her pregnancy, she said, O’Sullivan contacted her through a friend and expressed his excitement about meeting the child.
Magnus, however, disclosed that O’Sullivan, 44, has never kept his purported pledge to become a more involved grandparent.
