Ronnie O’Sullivan’s estranged daughter has accused him of being “not fit to be a dad”.
Taylor-Ann Magnus is the 23-year-old child of O’Sullivan and Sally-Ann Magnus, with whom he had a year-long relationship in 1996.
Sally-Ann moved into O’Sullivan’s family home when both his parents were jailed – his dad for murder, his mum for tax evasion.
But mortgage administrator Sally-Ann was kicked out when O’Sullivan’s mum Maria was released, quickly bringing an end to the romance.
And their daughter has told The Sun she has only met her dad 12 times in her life and complained about their distant relationship.
Taylor-Ann said: “He might be world champion to some but he’s not fit to be called ‘Dad’ let alone ‘Grandad’ as far as I’m concerned.”
In her Sun interview, Taylor-Ann accused the snooker legend of shunning her attempts to introduce him to her daughter Zarah-Ann.
She said: “Zarah-Ann will grow up never knowing who he is. He’s made so many promises, but what he says and what he does are so different.”
Taylor-Ann said O’Sullivan got in touch through a friend when she announced her pregnancy to claim he was excited to meet the baby.
But Magnus revealed 44-year-old O’Sullivan has never followed up on his apparent promises to be a more active grandparent.
