BREAKING NEWS: Jayson Tatum sends strong message on Boston Celtics’ homestand statement…..
After losing to the Indiana Pacers in the NBA In-Season Quarterfinals on December 4, the Boston Celtics bounced back with five straight homestand victory, three of which were by double digits and, strangely enough, four of which came against just two teams. Boston defeated the Orlando Magic by 17 points apiece on December 15 and 17, following victories by single digits over the Cleveland Cavaliers on December 12 and 14.
Following the latest triumph over Orlando, Jayson Tatum sent a message to the rest of the Association: these were the kinds of performances the 2022-23 Celtics lacked. And that should scare all 29 othe teams.
Tatum stated, “I think what we did this week was impressive” (via MassLive). We might not have won every game if we had played the same team last year. However, we will be facing two excellent clubs that offer distinct challenges and with whom we have previously struggled, particularly Orlando. We had three bigs out on Friday in particular, and with the manner we played, we were able to win. I’m not sure what other people thought of us winning these four games at home, but I was pleased with our performance.
