The Celtics are aiming to capture the’magic’ of the Heat with their latest roster move.
The Boston Celtics have cut center Nathan Knight, who was on a two-way contract, and signed rookie wing Drew Peterson to a vacant two-way contract. The Celtics are hoping to capture the Miami Heat scouting “magic” by signing Peterson, who was one of the Heat’s final roster cuts this season. The move follows a similar move by the Miami Heat earlier this week.
Drew Peterson is set to join the Celtics on a two-way contract, primarily spending most of the season in the G League with the Maine Celtics.
