The 49ers’ long snapper reportedly trolled DK Metcalf in sign language after the game.
Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf experienced a heated moment during a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. After attempting a dirty tackle on 49ers linebacker Fred Warner, he was ejected after an ensuing scuffle, marking his fourth straight defeat.
Taybor Pepper, a 49ers long snapper, used American Sign Language (ASL) in a viral video to hit quarterback Brett Metcalf after the game, signing to the camera and referencing Metcalf’s jersey number.
Former All-Pro Metcalf recently revealed he learned sign language to talk trash to opponents, but Pepper, the long snapper for the 49ers since 2020, threw that back at him. Pepper is quickly becoming one of the top personalities in football, having gone viral for a video announcing his NFL future.
