Star players Ruben Neves, Matheus Nunes, Raul Jimenez, and Conor Coady were among the almost £140 million worth of talent that Wolves let go during a trying summer that finally resulted in Julen Lopetegui resigning as head coach.
In order to comply with the profit and sustainability regulations of the Premier League, formerly known as FFP, the club had to make a profit during this fiscal year.
Throughout a difficult summer, which ultimately saw Julen Lopetegui walk away from his post as head coach, Wolves offloaded around £140million worth of talent which included star names Ruben Neves, Matheus Nunes, Raul Jimenez and Conor Coady.
