Results of the survey: Most Michigan supporters think that Harbaugh’s suspension will have a big impact on the game against Ohio State.
This is by no means a startling development.
SB Nation Reacts, a survey of NCAA fans, has asked about the impact of head coach Jim Harbaugh’s absence from the Michigan Wolverines’ regular season against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The survey found that 55% of Michigan fans believe Harbaugh’s absence will have a significant impact on the game, while 32% believe it won’t significantly, and 11% believe Michigan will lose. Michigan is a short 3.5-point home favorite against Ohio State, having been underdogs the last two seasons. With oddsmakers favoring the Wolverines, 48% of respondents believe they will win and cover against the Buckeyes, while 33% believe they will win but not cover, and 19% believe Ohio State wins the game. The survey also asked about the Wolverines’ chances of winning the game, as they have been underdogs the last two seasons.
