Ange Postecoglou confirms two new Tottenham injuries as problems mount for Spurs boss………….
Ange Postecoglou’s honeymoon at Tottenham Hotspur appears to be gone as he disclosed that his injury-ravaged team has suffered two more setbacks.
Spurs lost 4-1 at home against Chelsea after leading the Premier League table after two games prior to the international break. Spurs played with nine men at the end of the game. After being injured in the match, Micky van de Ven and James Maddison will not be able to play again until 2024. Postecoglou’s team lost 2-1 to Wolves five days later.
They’ll look to bounce back at home to Aston Villa on Sunday, but the manager must also contend with Richarlison, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic also being sidelined with issues. And Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma will be missing with suspension.
