West Ham star along with two others get kicked out of the national team for clubbing all night ahead of vital qualifier……
Three Czech players, including Vladimir Coufal of West Ham, were expelled from the national team camp for “fundamentally violating” rules.
Just two days before the pivotal Euro 2024 qualifying match against Moldova, Coufal, Jakub Brabec, and Jan Kuchta went out clubbing all night rather than sleeping, according to Croatian website ISport.
Despite the significance of the next game, the manager banned the three of them after learning of it.
The news was confirmed by the Czech Football Association earlier today in a statement posted on social media.
It said as follows (via The Mirror):
On Saturday night, three members of the national team essentially broke the team’s internal regulations. Jan Kuchta, Vladimír Coufal, and Jakub Brabec
Czech Republic only need to avoid a defeat in order to qualify for the Euros 2024. In a group consisting of Albania, Poland, Moldova, and Faroe Islands.
They currently sit 2nd with 12 points, 2 points behind group leaders Albania who have already qualified. A point against Moldova on Monday will be enough to send the Czechs through as well.
