Injury Expert issues Djed Spence update ahead of Leeds United v Plymouth Argyle
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar
as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Leeds United..
The Spurs loanee moved to Ellandad over the summer and before becoming a first-team regular, picked up an injury that saw him miss over two months.
The injury expert claims that partial team training is on the cards for him, bu
t not enough to return for the game on 11 November.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Spence:
I imagine they’ll want him to play bounce matches to adapt to the in-game demands of top level matches.
His training will likely first be partial team training and then, based on his response, progressively advance to full team training.
“He’s looking at a post international break return as he recovers from his damaged lateral collateral ligament.
Spence appeared to be the signing Leeds were crying out for after the exit of Cody Drameh who joined Birmingham City on loan.
Luke Ayling is no longer the player he was and Rasmus Kristensen’s exit also left them short in that department.
Jamie Shackleton has done well in Spence’s absence, but Daniel Farke will be hoping he’s back sooner rather than later.
Spence has only played nine minutes this season.
ds In other Leeds united news, sources reveal that the Whites want to sign an EFL ‘Star’ and his club may be forced to sell him in January.
