The 2023 Snooker Fest’s creative director and organizer, Emmanuel Agbaeze, has stated that the occasion will highlight the abilities of Nigeria’s pool community to a global audience.
Agbaeze stated to The Guardian that in addition to drawing investors, the event would investigate unrealized possibilities within the pool community.
He made the point that the festival will give the pool community a platform to develop the nation’s sports and tourist industries.

He invited everyone to the festival, pointing out that N3 million in cash prizes will be up for grabs.
Agbaeze continued, saying that the inaugural event would take place on November 4 at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos, and would be organized in collaboration with Pesoheti Sports and Hot FM Lagos.
