Workington Golf Club A, the current Division One winners of the L&L Property Contractors Snooker League, put on their most convincing display of the year.
They delivered Division Two’s Rack Shack a 5-0 drubbing.
The Golf Club A team led 1-0 after a strong performance from Bryan Walker in the opening frame of the match, but Phil Sorfleet overcame his teammate for a 2-0 lead with a break of 41 in the next.After being put to the test in the third, Ryan Ismay emerged victorious, and with Lewis Tilley winning the fourth, the lead for the golfers was now 4-0.
