WHEN IS THE SCOTTISH OPEN?
The qualifiers begin on Monday, October 30 and run through Thursday, November 2. The main event takes place in December, beginning on Monday 11 and concluding with the final on Sunday 17.

WHO IS PLAYING IN THE SCOTTISH OPEN?
A field of stars will line up in the opening round of the Scottish Open in Edinburgh in December, including world No. 1 Ronnie O’Sullivan, reigning champion Gary Wilson and world champion Luca Brecel.
Xiao Guodong, Jamie Clarke, Fan Zhengyi, and Sanderson Lam are among those entering at the qualifying stage.
Jack Borwick and Amaan Iqbal have been awarded wildcard places in the tournament.
WHAT IS THE SCOTTISH OPEN SCHEDULE?
The tournament proper begins on Monday, December 11 with the rounds progressing each day. The quarter-finals are set for Friday, with the semi-finals on Saturday and the final on Sunday.
The first four rounds of the tournament will be played on a best-of-seven basis with no intervals. The quarter-finals will be best of nine frames, the semi-finals best of 11 and the final is a best of 17 frames with an interval after the first eight frames. The daily sessions will begin at 10am and 7pm, with held back matches played not before 1pm.

The 2023 Scottish Open Final is scheduled for Sunday, December 17, beginning at 7pm, GMT

There is a total of £427,000 of prize money on offer in Edinburgh. It is divided in the following format.

While the tournament proper will take place in Edinburgh, qualifying matches are set for Leicester.
