According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Tottenham and Fulham will compete to capture Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in the January transfer window.
Fulham’s first priority is a striker, and Football Insider reported on Friday, October 27, that Marco Silva will likely receive funding to spend in the winter window.
Among the Premier League’s lowest scorers, Fulham has not yet found a replacement for talisman Aleksandar Mitrović, who moved to Al-Hilal in the summer.
Tottenham, though, is also keeping an eye on Guirassy, the hot striker.
The Guinean international’s Stuttgart contract includes a release clause of approximately £15 million. He is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
This season in the Bundesliga, he has produced more than Harry Kane of Bayern Munich.
Guirassy has managed 14 goals and one assist across eight games in the German top-flight, while the ex-Tottenham man has hit nine goals and contributed four assists.
He only joined Stuttgart permanently this summer after a successful loan spell at the German outfit last season.
The 27-year-old, who was coveted by Premier League sides during his time in France, signed a contract running until June 2026.
Guirassy, who has scored twice in eight appearances for Guinea, is expected to go to the African Cup of Nations with his country in the new year.
