Neco Williams is the latest Nottingham Forest player to be added to the injury list, as he suffered a worrying injury in the Premier League clash vs Brighton and Hove Albion.
Forest had already suffered a blow with Moussa Niakhate going off in the first half. He was replaced by Joe Worrall in the centre of defence.
But the Reds suffered a second in the second half as Williams was taken off on a stretcher after a scramble in the penalty area. The full-back received lengthy treatment on the pitch before being taken off on a stretcher.
BT Sport reported that the defender was being treated for concussion after appearing to clash with teammate Brennan Johnson. Steve Cooper will give an update on the player in his post-match press conference.
The score at the time was locked at 1-1, with Pascal Gross own goal drawing Forest level. But Forest took the lead through Danilo just a few minutes after Williams’ injury.
The game has been full of incident, with Johnson also seen an early penalty saved by Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele. If Forest hold on for the three points, they will climb out of the relegation zone.
