We are excited to have Aston Villa podcaster Ty Bracey join us as our exclusive columnist. Every week, he will share his thoughts on the club’s most talked-about topics.
According to Ty Bracey, Aston Villa is a superior team to Tottenham and can defeat them “regardless of form.”
The Villans have a good run of games coming up, starting with Luton Town, NottinghForest,am and Fulham. They recently defeated European contenders West Ham 4-1 on Sunday, October 25. Next month, the Villans will welcome the Cottagers, and Ange Postecoglou’s title-leading Tottenham will be waiting for them.
With victories over Chelsea and Brighton, Villa has challenged the best teams in the Premier League, but defeats to Newcastle and Liverpool suggest that their true quality may yet to be determined. While Tottenham is still unbeaten in the league, they may have covered up some weaknesses with their late comeback against Sheffield United and their VAR-tainted victory over Liverpool.
Bracey noted that the next few fixtures are crucial to keep Villa in the mix for European qualification, but the encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is “absolutely winnable”.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “Spurs, I know they’re top of the league, but are they unbeatable? No. Have they got a manager who’s doing really well? Yes. But are they going to go through the season and else games? Of course, they are.
