Tottenham Hotspur defeated Fulham once more this evening to continue their very impressive start to the season.
Spurs’ attacking play proved to be lethal once more, as goals from James Maddison and Heung-Min Son secured three more points for the team.
While Maddison and Son will garner the most attention, Spurs defender Micky van de Ven was praised by Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher.

During the half, Carragher spoke on Sky Sports and praised the Dutchman’s touch that helped set up Son’s first goal.
Van de Ven says, “You know what I’m going,” jumps into midfield with two strikers above him, and Carragher thought the touch was incredible. “This is the man they are trying to get the ball in Lukic, and you talk about being on the front foot,” Carragher said.
Van de Ven appearing increasingly better
When Spurs made a large purchase of the 22-year-old, some people raised an eyebrow, but he is turning out to be a great addition.
Van van Ven appears to have been a player in England for a long time, and he currently forms one of the league’s best tandems with Romero.
Romero’s defense is getting closer to being the best under Van de Ven, which will make Ange Postecoglou happy with his group of defenders.
