According to reports, striker Divock Origi’s quiet beginning at Nottingham Forest puts parent club AC Milan in danger of having a “big problem.”
Due to a hip issue, the 28-year-old will be out of action “for a good few weeks,” according to head coach Steve Cooper. However, he had been in pain for a few minutes before the injury.
Origi has made four appearances for the Reds since moving to the City Ground on deadline day, but he has not yet found the back of the net. He has only made cameo appearances throughout those times, and he has struggled to leave an impression.

He is expected to play the entire season on loan at Trentside, though Forest has the option to bring him in permanently. However, it appears Milan is already debating whether Cooper’s team will likely pursue that.
The Italian publication Calciomercato claims that the Reds would have to pay 4.5 million euros (£3.9 million) to acquire Origi. However, they opine that Forest will not spend the money, which would leave Milan facing “a big problem.”
Origi is under contract with the Serie A outfit until 2026. His deal is said to be worth 4m euros (£3.4m) net per season.
