Orel Mangala, a player for Nottingham Forest, had a fantastic performance against Luton on Saturday. Journalist Sarah Clapson of Nottinghamshire Live, who was raving about the Belgian star, believes that.
The 25-year-old, Ibrahim Sangare, and Nicolas Dominguez formed a midfield trio at the beginning of the game. Mangala joined the Forest team in the summer of 2022 after moving from Stuttgart, and he is currently regarded as a regular.
Mangala’s rookie season at Forest saw him make 31 appearances for the team. But this season has seen him really step up, and he now seems to be a key player.
Journalists gush about Mangala, the Forest star
Since joining the team, the player with ten appearances for Belgium may have experienced some identity issues. It has frequently been difficult for Forest supporters to discern Mangala’s true position as a midfield player.
But given his performance this season, things are starting to show more clearly. Mangala appears to be an extremely hardworking player who enjoys carrying the ball and can pick passes.
Indeed, following Saturday’s 2-2 draw between Forest and Luton, Clapson had high praise for Mangala. “Mangala was excellent,” the journalist from Nottinghamshire Live declared. He is really at his best when he is in midfield with Sangare and Dominguez.
Mangala is currently aiming for uniformity at the City Ground.
When Forest acquired Mangala from Stuttgart in the summer of 2022, they acquired a talented player. He didn’t break the bank and recently proved that he is a capable player.
