Anthony Elanga, a standout for Nottingham Forest, has stated that he is prepared to play if asked to start for Sweden tonight. Later tomorrow evening, Janne Andersson’s team plays a friendly against Moldova.
The 21-year-old’s last national team start was in November of 2022. He played for 69 minutes in a 2-1 victory over Mexico, and he will be eager to make an impression.
Elanga will believe he has contributed enough to Forest this year to be considered for a starting position. He not only collected an assist against Arsenal but also scored the game-winning goal for the squad earlier in the season against Chelsea.
Forest athlete Elanga is prepared to play for Sweden.
The child won’t feel as though he has yet fully demonstrated to Sweden what he is all about. He will therefore be eager to start working for his nation.
The Swedish media has conducted an interview with Elanga. “I’m ready,” the Forest player declared to Fotboll Skanalen. Let’s see what Janne has in mind. I want to score by taking a chance. I’ll seize the chance to play when it presents itself.
Tonight, Sweden takes on Moldova in an attempt to settle into a groove before a significant qualifying match. They desperately need to win when they play Belgium on Monday.
Elanga seeks to establish a point.
This season, the player has only really started two Premier League games for Forest. He will aim to establish himself as a more consistent member of the team as the season goes on, and the same is true of his playing time for Sweden.
A player who puts forth so much effort cannot afford to be overlooked. He will therefore be driven to earn more starts for club and country in order to fully showcase his abilities.
Elanga is a highly valuable player that Forest signed. He is somewhat of a steal for £15 million, and before this season is out, the gifted young player still has more to give.
