Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive as Reds reportedly remain interested in Turkey international Kerem Akturkoglu
According to reports, Nottingham Forest may rekindle their interest in Kerem Akturkoglu, a winger for Galatasaray.
In the summer, Forest’s attempts to sign the 24-year-old were unsuccessful. It was said that the Turkish side considered an offer of €11 million (£9.5 million) to be “very low”.
Even now, Akturkoglu is still in the news because he is rumored to have been spotted playing for Galatasaray and Turkey recently. Along with Aston Villa, West Ham, Brighton, and Everton, Forest has reportedly been one of the teams to “check” on the winger.

Tottenham, on the other hand, has reportedly “initiated contact” regarding a possible January transfer and is also reported to have expressed interest. In 16 appearances across all competitions this season, he has five goals and seven assists, demonstrating his excellent play.
According to earlier reports, Akturkoglu is open to the prospect of competing in the Premier League of English football. If the Reds decide to pursue him again in the new year, they will have competition from other European clubs that are rumored to be interested in him.
After signing a deal with Galatasaray in 2020, the Turkey international is bound to the team until 2026.
