Huub Stevens, a former coach of PSV Eindhoven, has said he is still learning about the true speed of Armel Bella-Kotchap, a star on loan from Southampton.
After being demoted from the Premier League last season, Southampton lost a number of players, and Bella-Kotchap left on loan to PSV Eindhoven.
Bella-Kotchap will be working hard to secure a regular berth in the PSV Eindhoven squad soon.
Bella-Kotchap can play high up on the field because, as Stevens acknowledged, he is quick and can chase down a player in a foot race.
The former PSV Eindhoven coach is still unsure of how swiftly the loanee from Southampton is gonna get going.
Stevens said of the loanee from the Saints: “I know he can run fast on longer distances, so he can play with space behind him.”
But I have to be more accurate; I’m not sure how fast he is in those initial few meters.

Southampton, who highly regard Bella-Kotchap, will be monitoring the German’s progress closely this season.
