Following a frightening incident, former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was carried off the field on a stretcher. He was driven to the ground on his back while being sacked and smacked his head hard on the turf.
The Dolphins-Bengals Thursday Night Football game was delayed while Tagovailoa lay motionless on the field.
His face mask was removed, and he was eventually carried off the field and sent to the University of Cincinnati hospital.
The Miami Dolphins have recently tweeted that he has full extremity movement. The account further stated that updates will be forthcoming.
This comes less than a week after Tagovailoa was struck severely by the Buffalo Bills, prompting him to be assessed by an NFL neurologist. He was cleared to return after claiming a back injury. In the second half, he returned to finish the game.
Tua Tagovailoa’s health and status will be followed closely by Roll Tide Wire.
