Jermaine Jenas SLAMMED for ‘disgraceful’ Arsenal vs Tottenham comments
At a contentious judgment made during Sunday’s North London derby between Arsenal and Spurs, Jenas reacted passionately.
A foundation that supports referees has criticized Jermaine Jenas for using abusive language toward referee Robert Jones during Sunday’s North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham.
At the Emirates Stadium, where the Gunners and Spurs fought to an exciting 2-2 draw, the hosts were given a penalty in the second half after a VAR review for a handball by Cristian Romero.
Infuriated by Jones’ choice to point at the location after consulting the monitor, Jenas vented his rage on Twitter.
Presenter and pundit turned former Spurs midfielder wrote, “Complete sh*thouse of a referee! They’re all destroying our game!”
It’ll happen to Arsenal at some time this year, Jenas stated in reaction to criticism of his original statement. If it takes so long even after repeatedly watching it, it’s not a pen.
The former England international was just picked to head the “Love Football, Protect the Game” campaign last month. This campaign was started to enhance player and coach conduct, especially how they respect officials.
How Ange Postecgolou has ALREADY fixed Tottenham
Ref Support UK has thus denounced Jenas’ rant. The CEO of the charity stated:
“Jermaine Jenas did this in a really dishonorable way. The FA and other football organizations pay him one week to spearhead a campaign against referee abuse, then the next week, he posts derogatory comments about a referee online.
The BBC current affairs program that Jenas hosts, The One Show, has even featured stories about match officials being abused online. Additionally, I don’t believe this enhances the BBC’s reputation because it is wholly inappropriate. When this sort of thing happens, it usually results in what occurred to Anthony Taylor last year, when his family was accosted at the airport after Jose Mourinho criticized him during the Europa League final.

CHELSEA NEW MANAGER ODDS The favourites for Stamford Bridge hotseat are named
Due to Chelsea’s disastrous start to the season, some are wondering how long Mauricio Pochettino will remain in charge.
Just four months after his appointment, Chelsea’s head coach Mauricio Pochettino is under fire due to the team’s terrible start to the season.
The Blues have lost three of their first six Premier League games in 2023–24, won just one, and scored just five goals, which is the same number as bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United, following Sunday’s 1-0 loss at home to Aston Villa.
Pochettino might be finding his seat in the Stamford Bridge dugout warming up a touch, despite maintaining, “I think the team is performing well,” given the West London club’s history of firing managers in previous years.
If Chelsea does decide to part ways with the Argentine, these are the odds for the club’s next manager.

1/13 Didier Deschamps
Didier Deschamps has experience winning at the top level after leading France to World Cup victory in 2018 (and another final in 2022).
After stints in club management with Monaco, Juventus, and Marseille, he has been in command of Les Bleus for 11 years. Could he be interested in a change of scenery by taking over the Blues?
2. Zinedine Zidane: 5/1
Both as a player and as a coach, Zinedine Zidane won everything with Real Madrid; nevertheless, he has never coached a team outside of the La Liga giants.
The three-time FIFA World Player of the Year frequently appears on the shortlists for important Premier League positions; is his time near?
3. Roberto De Zerbi: 7/1
The previous time Chelsea hired a manager from Brighton, it didn’t go so well: Graham Potter held the position for only seven months.
However, his replacement on the South Coast has led the Seagulls to greater heights, and it is only a matter of time until a major player in European football approaches Roberto De Zerbi.
4. Julian Nagelsmann: 10/1
It’s fair to say that it appears very improbable that Julian Nagelsmann would be able to join Chelsea given that he only recently took over as manager of the German national team.
Prior to hiring Pochettino, the Blues were heavily associated with the former Bayern Munich manager, so there may still be some interest on their behalf.
5. Hansi Flick: 16/1
Or how about the person who followed Nagelsmann as manager of Germany? Hansi Flick was fired earlier this month, marking the first occasion in national team history for such a thing to occur.
However, the former Bayern and Hoffenheim manager has a strong track record at the club level, having led Bayern to back-to-back Bundesliga crowns and the 2019–20 Champions League victory.
