Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Manchester City had carried off a sensational attack on longtime rivals Manchester United.
For the most of the past ten years, English football has been dominated by the blue half of Manchester. In the post-Ferguson period, Man Utd has suffered greatly, and the two teams’ respective transfer dealings at that time are chalk and cheese.
United rarely hits in the market, whereas City rarely misses. As a result, United supporters will be shocked to find that one of their most promising young players is about to join their close neighbors.
In July, Fabrizio Romano reported that City and United were very close to a deal for the 17-year-old center back Harrison Parker to join them.
According to reports, Man City had to hold off fierce opposition from four unidentified clubs to grab the lead for Parker. That, however, only covered a portion of the narrative.
In fact, the transfer guru claimed Man Utd had offered Parker a sizable offer, making him their highest-paid young player.
Unfortunately, the most recent news from Romano indicates that Parker has not been swayed by the offer.
Parker is one of two outstanding Man City victories.
Friday morning, Romano merely quoted and added a tick to his earlier tweet from July to provide the most recent information. In other terms, City has finished its heist of Manchester United.
Romano tweeted a second time to confirm the news, adding that the coup will “formally complete” later today.
Parker’s announcement could coincide with confirmation England Under-17 international, Divine Mukasa, is also joining.
