Liverpool transfer rumors: Jürgen Klopp apparently has the option to re-sign a player who was previously under consideration, while the Reds are reportedly in a battle with Barcelona for a free agent.
Despite the fact that the current season has only featured four games, Liverpool has already been connected with a number of players. The Reds already appear to be a tad short there as they didn’t add a defender in the summer.
The reviving of the midfield is still ongoing, partly due to the necessity for a top-tier defensive player and the possibility that Thiago would leave when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
Even in the attacking areas, where Jürgen Klopp’s team is well-stocked, Mohamed Salah remains a long-term mystery for Liverpool. The attention from Saudi Arabia won’t go away, but he was never going to go this summer.

Jürgen Klopp talent who just showed next ‘electric’ glimpse may soon get more Liverpool chances
None of Liverpool’s promising academy players has received more attention than one who Jürgen Klopp may soon give more playing time to.
The 17-year-old Scottish forward Ben Doak is a great talent, and Liverpool is aware of this. The winger’s career has a long way to go, but the early indications are very promising.
Despite the obvious limitations due to his youth, Doak has so far displayed a level of courage that can only generate buzz. He already exudes a stature and assurance that indicate a bright future in the sport.
Doak should have high expectations of participating in the Europa League given that he has been named to Liverpool’s roster for that competition. He has so far participated in six Premier League games without once appearing rattled.
